- At the airport, buy a ticket to Tulum at the ADO counter.
- Confirm with staff that you will get off in Puerto Aventuras.
- Keep luggage handy: the stop is not a full terminal with extensive infrastructure.
- From the highway you will need a local taxi or a short transfer to enter the complex/hotel.
Playaexpress
Playaexpress is popular for moving between Cancun and Playa del Carmen, but it does not depart from the airport. To use it from CUN you’d first go to Playa del Carmen (by ADO or taxi/transfer) and then connect to Puerto Aventuras. It’s cheap, but slower and involves transfers.
Maya Train
Although the Maya Train has infrastructure near the airport, there is currently no route to Puerto Aventuras for this trip. It is not an operational alternative as of today.
